Dear Gill Parrott
Thank you for giving up your time and driving us for the Amazing Race and to where ever we needed to go. I really enjoyed going to Amazeme in Rotorua. I am very thankful for the double scoop ice creams you brought us and the candy on the second day. Thank you for not panicking when we got lost and just calmly telling us to ask a person on the side of the road who pointed us in the right direction. Also thank you for keeping up with us when we were running around in the Rotorua Redwoods and at the Martha Mine (although that doesn't count because we kind of ran away from you but oh well).
We had lots of fun, we would love to do it again.
Yours Sincerely

Reuben Magee

AMAZING RACE REFLECTION

WALT: reflect on our experience of the amazing race
My group for the amazing race was Emily, Joe, Morgan and me.

My driver for all three days was Gill Parrott
Day One - Te Puna - Katikati - Waihi - Karangahaka Gorge
I feel that day one was a really fun. The best activity was at Te Puna Quarry Park. This was the best activity because it was challenging. The most boring activity was at Katikati. This was the most boring activity because all we had to do was find murals and answer questions about them. The most challenging activity was at the Karangahaka Gorge. This was the most challenging activity because it was to hard to find the dark tunnel.
Day Two - Papamoa - Te Puke - Rotorua
I found that day two was easier then day one but it was still hard. I think that day two could have been better if we actually had done some Blokarting at Game On in Papamoa. The most boring activity was at Te Puia. This was the most boring activity because we weren’t allowed to run. The best activity was at aMAZEme maze in Rotorua. This was the best activity because it was challenging this was also the most challenging activity.
Day Three - Mount Maunganui - Tauranga
I found day three boring I found day three boring because we were only in Tauranga and Mount Maunganui and we went nowhere different. The most boring activity was eating the fish and chips in the park. This was the most boring activity because all we did was stand around and eat. The best activity was at the Earth2Ocean dive center. This was best activity because we got to see how to scuba dive. The most challenging activity was at the wharf. This was the most challenging activity because it was hard to find the boats.

Excellent reflection Reuben. Great honesty. I am sorry that you didn't enjoy Day Three, but glad your found the other days ok. Nice voice recording!
Miss Crone :)

Why Are New Zealanders The Best?

New Zealand is the best country because it has stunning scenery, Fabulous beaches and we love our sport. The sport we are most famous for is rugby. We are known around the world as having the best rugby team The All Blacks. The most beautiful thing about New Zealand is the gobsmacking and very clean coastline. The people will welcome you with open arms and will help you when you want it. another great thing about New Zealand is the large native forests most of these are protected and can not be cut down.
